Seven Mile Market, one of the largest, full service kosher supermarkets in the United States, is conveniently located in Pikesville, MD. In addition to 18 aisles of Grocery, Produce, Dairy, and Frozen items, the 55,000 square foot building houses several full-service departments, including Meat, Deli, Dairy, Appetizing, Hot Food, Bakery, and Fish, all approved by the Vaad HaKashrus of Baltimore. A Floral Shop, Pharmacy and Optical Center are located in the store as well. While the store only carries kosher products, consumers are advised to use their own discretion regarding the kosher status of individual items. For even further convenience, delivery service is available. Originally opened by Mr. Jack Boehm as Jack’s Grocery in 1958 in Lower Park Heights in Baltimore, the store moved along with the Baltimore Orthodox Jewish community. In 1988, the store opened as Seven Mile Market on Seven Mile Lane in Pikesville under the ownership of Mr. Hershel Boehm, son of Mr. Jack Boehm, and Mr. Josh Gutman. The supermarket moved to its current location on Reisterstown Road in 2010 where it services Jewish and Non-Jewish residents from around the region.
